Abstract

The enigma of fixed drug eruption has fascinated dermatologists for over eighty years. The clinical features and investigative studies suggest that many immunopathogenic mechanisms may be involved. Fixed drug eruption offers a unique opportunity to study the early events of inflammation and the factors controlling localizations of skin disease. Copyright © 1983, Wiley Blackwell.
