Abstract
The objective of this article is to study the diagnosis of Attention Deficit Disorder and Hyperactivity (ADDH), emphasizing the familial, educational and emotional implications. The impact of the diagnosis upon family dynamics, on the behavior of children and on the paternal and maternal roles are examined. The author presents methodological recommendations for clinical social work practice with children and adolescents and families confronting this problem.
