Abstract

The social global movements of health marked the decade of 90. The debate on Global Health is a constituent part of this article aiming at understand the new social struggles in the field of public health. The training of social movements that act as a whole provide a critical review on public health through the articulation and organization of global causes brought by activists of the field of health. In Brazil, the focus of analysis is the World Social Forum of Health - a movement that was organized from the sum of other global and social struggles that won prominence in South America such moves the profile of public health policy for the State in the last decade and brought questions about the organisation of the new social movements.
