Abstract
Hoffmannia arqueonervosa Cast.-Campos (Rubiaceaea) is described and illustrated as a new species from the gallery forest in the Center of Veracruz and on the eastern slopes of the Cofre de Perote volcano, Veracruz, Mexico. This species is related to Hoffmannia cuneatissima B. L. Robins.; however, the petioles and internodes of H. arqueonervosa are longer, leaves are glabrous and fruits are larger.
