Uma nova espécie do gênero Mesus Chevrolat do Mato Grosso do Sul, Brasil (Coleoptera, Carabidae, Scaritini)

Abstract

Mesus pseudogigas sp. nov. is described based on two females (type locality: Corumba, Mato Grosso, Brazil). The new species is very similar to M. gigas Reichardt, 1974, mainly by the large size and by the lateral triangular expansion over the antennal insertions.
