Abstract

Properties of acid pellets with MgO/SiO//2 ratios between 0 and 1. 3 and pellets with MgO and CaO/SiO//2 ratios between 0 and 1. 3 are presented. The paper defines the effect of magnesio-ferrite on physical properties at room temperature and the reduction properties at low temperature (900 degree C) and clarifies the process of magnesio-ferrite formation.
