Abstract

The work was aimed to study the problem of state financing of innovative activities in the Russian Federation, as well as to assess the development prospects of this direction. Technological progress is one of the most promising areas of economic development around the world. The greatest interest in investment in the field of innovation, in our opinion, is the experience of countries such as the United States, China and Japan. The relevance of this topic lies in the urgent need to develop technological and innovative processes in Russia, and this is possible only with strong government support. The article will consider the main directions and methods of state support and financing of innovative activities in the Russian Federation, problems and prospects for the development of innovative processes in Russia, as well as an assessment of the place and role of the Russian Federation in the world in terms of total expenditures on innovative activities.
