Abstract

The arrival of big data and open data to the public administration has meant the rupture of the traditional model and has led to an innovation in it, hence they are categorized as disruptive technologies. Their appearance will cause an adaptation, not only of public employees, but of the whole society; but, also presents us with enormous challenges, especially for its regulation. This article seeks to refer to the main characteristics, advantages and virtues of these technologies, in order to encourage their implementation, and thus not be left out of this new revolution.
