Abstract
A new controller for boost DC-to-DC power converters is proposed. The new scheme takes into account that the duty cycle is constrained to physically admissible values. The analysis of the closed-loop trajectories provides the conclusion that output voltage regulation is achieved in asymptotic form. Theoretical results are supported by using real-time experiments. © The Institution of Engineering and Technology 2013.
