Abstract

It is of no value collecting good data if the analysis is inadequate or invalid. The results obtained may then be worthless, or at best they will fail to realise the true potential of the data. Either way, the value of the whole experiment is diminished to a point where the ethics of the investigation must be called into question. © 1980, British Medical Journal Publishing Group.
