Abstract
Elimination of the panel‐to‐panel gamma variation significantly reduces the perceived panel‐to‐panel color variation. A new architecture for eliminating the variation in the driving electronics and additionally a technique to compensate for panel cell gap variations results in reducing luminance errors to less than 1% for the entire grayscale.
