Abstract

This study aims to empirically examine the influence of situational leadership style and interactional justice on employee performance in East Kutai Regency. The subjects of this study were 176 employees at PT X in East Kutai Regency who were selected through quota sampling technique. The measuring instrument used in this study uses an employee performance scale, a situational leadership style scale and an interactional justice scale. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression statistical test. The results of the full model study show that there is an influence between situational leadership style and interactional justice on employee performance, namely the F count = 33.128 > F table = 3.05, R square = 0.277, and P = 0.000. In the results of the gradual model regression test, it was found that there was a significant influence between situational leadership style on employee performance, namely the value of beta (β) = 0.507, T count = 7.787 > T table = 1.654 and P = 0.000. Then the interactional justice on employee performance shows a significant effect, namely the value of beta (β) = 0.217, T count = 3.337 > T table = 1.654 and P = 0.001. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji secara empirik ada atau tidaknya pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan situasional dan keadilan interaksional terhadap kinerja karyawan di Kabupaten Kutai Timur. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 176 orang karyawan pada PT X di Kabupaten Kutai Timur yang dipilih melalui teknik kuota sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan skala kinerja karyawan, skala gaya kepemimpinan situasional dan skala keadilan interaksional. Teknik analisa data menggunakan uji statistik regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian model penuh menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh antara gaya kepemimpinan situasional dan keadilan interaksional terhadap kinerja karyawan yaitu dengan nilai F hitung = 33.128 > F tabel = 3.05, R square = 0.277, dan P = 0.000. Pada hasil uji regresi model bertahap didapatkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan antara gaya kepemimpinan situasional terhadap kinerja karyawan yaitu dengan nilai beta (β) = 0.507, T hitung = 7.787 > T tabel = 1.654 dan P = 0.000. Kemudian pada keadilan interaksional terhadap kinerja karyawan menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan yaitu dengan nilai beta (β) = 0.217, T hitung = 3.337 > T tabel = 1.654 dan P = 0.001.
