Abstract

Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are used by patients, prescribed by physicians and sold by shopkeepers randomly for the relief of 'any pain'. Its adverse side effects, precautionary measures are usually overlooked and mostly underestimated. The authors seek to provide an update views of their major complications, misuses and relative risk for unwanted side effects.
