Abstract

The article presents abstracts of papers presented at the 12th Annual Society of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (SCMR) Scientific Sessions held in Orlando, Florida on January 29 to February 1, 2009 including "Contrast enhanced cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging prior to prophylactic implantation of a cardioverter/defibrillator identifies patients with increased risk for ventricular arrhythmias," by Hassan Abdel-Aty and colleagues, "Sub-clinical systolic dysfunction with persistent myocardial edema and inflammation in elite high-endurance athletes with common colds: a cardiovascular magnetic resonance study," by Myra S.
