O Renascimento e as origens da ciência moderna: Interfaces históricas e epistemológicas

Abstract

ResumoEste trabalho apresenta os principais desdobramentos históricos e epistemológicos implicados na origem das ciências modernas. Para tanto, traça uma linha investigativa que explicita as interfaces históricas e epistemológicas envolvidas na forma como os intelectuais do Renascimento engendraram explicações sobre a vida (ou seu sentido), a história e a realidade que se diferenciaram e se afastaram das explicações anteriores, e, com isso, “abriram o caminho” para a fundamentação e legitimação das ciências modernas. In order to do so, it draws a line of investigation that explains the historical and epistemological interfaces involved in the way Renaissance intellectuals produced new explanations about life (or its meaning), history and reality that changed the previous explanations and “laid the groundwork” for the foundation and legitimization of modern sciences.Keywords: Renaissance; Epistemology; History of Science.
