Abstract

In the version of this Analysis originally published, there was an error in the code used to validate the disturbance maps; some ‘NA’ values were coded as ‘0’ which led to errors in the values in Supplementary Table 2. In the Supplementary Information, Supplementary Table 2 was replaced with all values corrected. Additionally, in the first paragraph of the Results subsection ‘Disturbance maps’, the values for map accuracy ‘92.5 ± 2.1%’, commission error ‘14.6 ± 1.8%’ and omission error ‘32.8 ± 0.3%’ were corrected to ‘87.6 ± 0.5%’, ‘17.1 ± 1.6%’ and ‘36.9 ± 0.02%’, respectively. This error does not affect the conclusions or interpretations of the paper; the resultant maps are not affected by this issue, nor are any of the following analyses of the disturbance regime. Rerunning the code reproduced all other results as expected.
