Abstract

Retinal ischaemia in the territory supplied by cilio-retinal arterioles is described in 10 patients with signs of central retinal vein occlusion and in another patient with a hemisphere branch vein occlusion. The venous occlusion was transitory in nine of the 11 cases, but two elderly patients developed rubeotic glaucoma.
