Abstract
Isochronic forcing of a classic Lotka-Volterra system creates subharnionic oscillations of ever greater frequency, interspersed with chaotic attractors that bear the stamp of the limit cycle oscillations in the subharmonic. This pattern emerges from a combination of period doubling bifurcations, saddle node bifurcations, and basin boundary collisions.
