Abstract

The aim of this article is to present, on the bases of literature review, different types of precision attachments used in prosthetic treatment with removable dentures. The paper briefly describes characteristics, advantages, disadvantages, laboratory work and indications of the most popular elements such as: lock, ball attachments, telescopic crown. Significant improvement of aesthetics and retention of prostheses using claspless anchorage systems has been demonstrated.
