Cryosurgical treatment of anal fissure

Abstract

Fifty patients having chronic fissure in ano were treated by means of cryosurgery. Cryosurgery provides an effective means for the treatment of anal fissures. The ease of application, brief duration and minimal pain are distinct advantages over conventional surgery.
