Abstract

A new species of Tripleurospermum Sch.Bip., Tripleurospermum ziganaense Inceer & Hayirlioglu-Ayaz (Asteraceae, Anthemideae), is described and illustrated. The species grows in open places, on rocky slopes and on roadsides in north-east Anatolia, Turkey. The diagnostic morphological characters that distinguish it from closely related taxa are discussed, and its conservation status is indicated. © 2008 The Linnean Society of London.
