Endometrioma contained within the broad ligament

Abstract

We present a rare case of an endometrioma present within and firmly adherent to the broad ligament in a patient who experienced an episode of acute abdominal pain. The endometrioma was excised laparoscopically and the broad ligament repaired. Copyright 2014 BMJ Publishing Group. All rights reserved.
