Abstract
We present a Central pontine myelinolysis (CPM) case. Computed Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonans Imaging (MRI) showed a large area of pontine myelinolysis. Myelin-basic protein (MBP) level in CSF was found to be elevated. Despite the presence of a large pontine lesion on CT and MRI, the clinical picture was not so severe, showing that symptoms may be inconsistent with the size of the lesion.
