Abstract

The results of a survey carried out during the summer of 1974–75 indicate that rudd Scardinius erythrophthalmus have become successfully acclimatised in New Zealand. Rudd were caught in 21 of 25 North Island waters in which they are known to have been liberated and had reproduced in at least 18 of these waters. © 1978 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
