Análise da produção científica sobre crianças com insuficiência renal em hemodiálise

Abstract

It consists in a descriptive and document study through a bibliographic research carried out in the Virtual Health Library - BIREME site, about children with renal failure on hemodialysis. The first step of this study consisted in the literature researches of articles about the subject described, written in the times of 2008 to catch the most recent issues published on this topic. Using the following criteria to search the site above - descriptor: "hemodialysis"; age group: "children", language: Portuguese and English - were found 54 articles. From these ones, after accomplishing an exploratory reading of the in this study, remained 18 articles. Based on these last ones, we proceeded to the selection of information that resulted in the developing of this text, which was planned according to the identification of key health areas of working, listing the main journals studied, specification of the main topics discussed and a description of the main types of studies carried out.
