Abstract

The paper presents the possibility to prepare the block copolymer between poly(succinimide) (PSI) and poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) with different molecular weights of about 4000, 10 000 or 20 000. The structures of the products obtained have been confirmed by nuclear magnetic resonance (1H NMR) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) methods. The characterization of the synthesized macromolecular compounds from the viewpoint of their thermal stability, as well as the copolymers suprastructure are also presented.
