A country must often experience problems both in the economic, social, and so on. Economic problems can cause poverty. Poverty is a condition in which a person cannot meet the needs for clothing, shelter, and food. Factors causing the level of poverty, namely the economy, unemployment, and so forth. With this problem of poverty, the researcher wants to examine what factors influence the level of poverty in the DI Yogyakarta Province by using variables, namely per capita expenditure, unemployment, and HDI. The method used is panel data regression and the best model that has been obtained is the fixed effect model with individual effects or cross-section effects. From the results of the panel regression analysis, it states that the results of the estimation of the fixed effect model with the cross-section effect obtained a coefficient of determination of 0.93237 which explains that there is a negative relationship between the per capita expenditure variable and a positive relationship to the HDI variable on the poverty rate in the DI Yogyakarta Province in 2019-2021 of 93.24%. While the remaining 6.76% is influenced by variables that are not in the model.
