Abstract

The article explores the study which examined personal perceptions of biculturalism, cultural identity, and disability, especially self-acceptance of culture and disability. It determined how to distinguish between disabilities and the normal second language learning development, along with explores on how to avoid the inappropriate provision of special education services to culturally and linguistically diverse students.
