STRATEGI PENGEMBANGAN USAHATANI PADI DI KABUPATEN SUMENEP

Abstract

Sumenep Regency is one of the regencies that have potential for rice farming in Madura. This research was conducted to formulate a strategy for developing rice farming in Sumenep Regency with the method Hierarchy Process (AHP). Key respondents included key informants included the Horticulture and Food Crops Agency, the Pangandan Livestock Resilience Office, Extension Officers in Sumenep, Gapura, Manding and Guluk Districts, and the leaders of farmer groups and farmers.The results showed the main priority in developing rice farming in Sumenep Regency was the aspect of procuring inputs with a weight of 0.243 where in alternative aspects of supplying inputs was important by providing quality, timelyof input production facilities and with the right amount, and needed good cooperation between farmers, farmers groups and the Government in developing rice farming in Sumenep Regency.
