Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh variasi pH umpan terhadap produksi biogas dari kiambang. Nilai pH umpan divariasikan 6, 7, dan 8. Proses fermentasi dijalankan menggunakan digester skala laboratorium (volume 600 mL) pada sistem batch dan suhu lingkungan selama 14 hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pH umpan 7 menghasilkan lebih banyak biogas daripada pH 6 dan 8. Total biogas yang dihasilkan pada pH 6, 7 dan 8 masing-masing adalah 29, 61, dan 94 mL. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of initial substrate pH on biogas production from Salvinia molesta. The initial pH was varied at 6, 7, 8. Fermentation process was conducted using lab-scala digester (volume 600 mL) operated at batch system dan room temperature for 14 days. The results showed that initial pH of 7 produced more total biogas than initial pH of 6 dan 8. Total biogas for initial pH of 6, 7, 8 was 29, 61, 94 mL
