Les individus face à l'épreuve des transitions biographiques

Abstract

This paper aims to question the scope and outlines of the term “biographical transition”, putting it into perspective compared to two other terms often associated with it: "bifurcation" and "biographical event". Several excerpts taken from three interviews illustrate a case of transition, which led to an aborted junction, and cases of transition-rupture and transition-continuity in sandwich course situations.
