Abstract
We have measured double differential cross-sections (DDCS) of low energy electrons emitted from O2 in collisions with 72MeV bare O ions. The derived forward backward asymmetry parameter spectrum shows monotonically increasing behavior. No oscillation due to interference was observed in the forward-backward angular asymmetry unlike that for molecular hydrogen for which oscillation was unambiguous. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
