Abstract

The article presents an analysis of the course by Foucautl Le Pouvoir psychiatrique, which explains the scopes and consquences of the operation of rewriting the Historie de la folie which he carries out. Firstly, it records the inscription of the problem of insanity in the context of the study of disciplinary's devices. Subsequently, an articulation betwen psychiatric power and biopolitics manage-ment is established, which shows a psychologizing proccess of life which would be disseminated and multiplied over the past two centuries and wouldculminate in advanced liberal societies.
