Abstract

This article gives a brief review on a selection of topics concerned with the chiral p-wave superconductor Sr2RuO4: 1) the role of spin-orbit coupling in stabilizing the chiral p-wave state; 2) properties resulting from the chirality of the Cooper pairs such as the anomalous electromagnetism and the core states of vortices; and 3) properties of the inhomogeneous filamentary 3-Kelvin phase in Sr2RuO4-Ru eutectics.
