Abstract

Natural energy reserves like petrol and diesel etc are depleting. As such, it is of paramount importance to find alternative fuels. Solar energy is trapped as biomass in plants. Biomass provide an excellent reserve for trapping solar energy on field. Complex enzymatic machinery comprising of hydrolytic reactions and consolidated bioprocessing is needed to make viable bioenergy, mostly biofuels like bioethanol for locomotives, industries and general use in the future.
