Abstract

The article discusses the facial vascularized composite allograft transplantation in the patients with severe facial disfigurement. It reports on the performing the full facial vascularized composite allografts and partial facial vascularized composite allografts in various patients. The face transplantation has resulted into no face allograft losses or deaths occurred after a five-year follow-up of the patients performed with the transplantation.
