Abstract

The aim of this research is to get information on the performance of employees in the Department of Manpower and Transmigration of West Sumatera Province in terms of employees work quality, work quantity and cooperative attitude at work. The type of this research is descriptive research. The sample of the research uses the Slovin formula. It is the Stratified Proportional Random Sampling technique at 10% error level. The instrument of the research uses a questionnaire with a Likert scale model which has 5 alternative answers. The validity test and reliability use SPSS Program version 25. For the validity test, this research uses level correlation with 5% (=0,514) significance level and the reliability test uses Cronbach Alpha Formula. The result of the data analysis on the performance of employees in Department of Manpower and Transmigration showed that (1) the employees work quality obtained an average of 4,26 and achievement level at an average of 85,17% in the high category; (2) the employees work quantity obtained an average of 4,10 and achievement level 82,07% in the high category; and (3) the cooperative attitude of employees with an average of 4.00 and achievement level of 79,93% in the fairly high category. As a result, it can be concluded that the performance of employees in Department of Manpower and Transmigration of West Sumatera Province is already in the high category by an average of 4,12 and level of achievement of 82,39%.
