Abstract

Accounting is an information system that provides stakeholder reports on economic activity and company conditions. The most basic role of accounting in business is its ability to provide various information and answers related to all kinds of financial data. There are four important roles of accounting in business that must be known, namely first as a financial controller, second as a provider of financial information, third to assist stakeholders in making decisions, and fourth as a liaison with third parties. An entrepreneurial spirit is a spirit of independence to seek sources of income by opening a business or channeling one's creativity. Entrepreneurial spirit is instilled since someone starts to realize that money is important. By instilling an entrepreneurial spirit, someone will learn to be more independent, learn to process the results of skills to become a work that can be sold in the form of food, clothing, services, or other goods. The ability to master accounting is one of the supports in business activities to achieve peak performance. Without accounting in our business, it will have a negative impact on the management of business finances.
