From NEOconstructivism to NEUROconstructivism

Abstract

Neoconstructivism makes the point that new knowledge is built within a context of existing knowledge. The neuroconstructivist approach argues that this is true of development at all levels of representation, from single cells, to functional brain systems, to children growing up within specific social and physical environments.
