Abstract
This serves as an introduction to salutogenesis in an attempt to be true to the way Aaron Antonovsky himself described it in words, metaphors and drawings. I had the pleasure of following him the last 7 years of his life when he presented his thoughts at the Nordic School of Public Health, became an Honorary Professor there and also made direct contacts with the new WHO Department of Health Promotion led by Ilona Kickbusch. It is based on my personal notes, many discussions and some video recordings. Welcome to the journey that forever changed my perspective on health.
