Tantangan Pulau Komodo: Dilema Wacana Penutupan Sementara

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyse deeper about the recent problem faced by komodo island as one of the promising tourism object destination in 21st century. This problem is about the discourse of government to close komodo island temporary. The method of this research is qualitative method. In this method, literature study is applied which disscuss the concepts and teories based on the available resources. From this research, it can be concluded that the discourse to close this island temporary is very dilematis. There are several consideration done because this tourism object is not only visited by domestics but also by foreigners. Besides, this island does not only serve beautiful scenaries but also thousands of komodo lizards in their natural habitat. Therefore, further consideration is needed before this discourse applied
