Abstract
Aburatubolactam A (1), isolated from the cultured broth of a Streptomyces sp., SCRC-A20, separated from a mollusk, potently inhibited superoxide anion generation. The structure of aburatubolactam A was determined by X-ray crystallographic analysis and the complete assignment of the resonances in the 1H-NMR spectrum was achieved.
