Abstract
BackgroundWork stress has been called an “epidemic”, but the epidemiological link between work and stress is lacking. At present it is unknown to what extent perceived stress exists in adolescence and how this will affect later perceived stress at the workplace. The aim of this study is to investigate the associations between subjective social status in school and society and level of perceived stress among a representative sample of 9th grade students in Denmark.Methods
