Abstract

The development of the business world now triggers the increasing need for an efficient data center and its high availability as well as a simple recovery and maintenance process. The use of computer technology in conjunction with internet-based innovation, namely cloud servers, is very useful for enterprise business processes. The greater the intensity of the company's business, the greater the need for cloud server and data centers to provide the best service. PT Gaya Makmur Mobil currently has centralized data on servers for all fields that can be accessed through the local area network (LAN) and the servers used still use physical servers so that if you use a large number of physical servers, it costs money, electricity, and space but has a limited capacity. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to be able to provide the right decision in making decisions on choosing a cloud server (VPS) that suits the needs of the company in order to provide the best service. In this case, the use of the weighted product method is very important in carrying out the decision-making process. From the results of this study, it is obtained a type of provider or cloud server (VPS) service provider, namely CloudMatika which has a total value of each price, performance, capacity and security criteria, which is 0.21723 and obtains the final value results with a rating of 1. The result of the assessment is in accordance with the weighted product method, both manual calculations and calculations through a website-based system.
