Prefrontal cortex dysfunction and attitudes toward money: A study in neuroeconomics

Abstract

In a sample of 139 community residents, attitudes toward money and credit cards were found to be associated with a measure of prefrontal cortex dysfunction (FrSBe), even after controls for age, sex, education and income. The results provide support for a neuroeconomic approach to the study of economic behavior. © 2007 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
