Sistem Informasi Geografis Pesantren di Provinsi Sumatera Barat

Abstract

Pesantren is a place of study of religion and general science based on Islamic and very important existence, therefore needed a system that can be used in giving information to society. For now there is no geographic information system that can provide general information, location and distance Pesantren in West Sumatra. Citizens who come from outside the region still find it difficult to find information about the location of Pesantren, because most of the location is far from the city center. In addition, information about the location, type and configuration of an object and description that exist in a geographic area also can not be displayed. Web-based geographic information system technology designed to provide convenience to citizens to get information such as profiles, locations, routes, and distance Pesantren.
