HIMENÓPTEROS PARASITÓIDES (INSECTA, HYMENOPTERA) COLETADOS EM CULTURA DE CAFÉ COFFEA ARABICA L. (RUBIACEAE) EM RIBEIRÃO PRETO, SP, BRASIL

Abstract

RESUMO Foi coletado um total de 5.228 himenópteros parasitóides pertencentes a oito superfamílias, distribuídos por 21 famílias por meio de armadilhas de Moericke, no período de 10 de dezembro de 2001 a 3 de janeiro de 2002 em cultura de café (Coffea arabica L.) em Ribeirão Preto, SP, Brasil. Encyrtidae, Scelionidae, Ichneumonidae, Mymaridae e Braconidae foram as famílias mais abundantes (23,9%, 14,9%, 11,8%, 10,9% e 10,0% do total de himenópteros parasitóides coletados, respectivamente). As demais famílias (16) apresentaram freqüências relativas menores que 1,0%.ABSTRACT A total of 5,228 parasitoids of 21 families of eight superfamilies were collected with Moericke traps between December 10th, 2001 and January 3rd, 2002 on a coffee (Coffea arabica L.) plantation in Ribeirão Preto, SP, Brazil. Encyrtidae, Scelionidae, Ichneumonidae, Mymaridae and Braconidae were the most common families (23.9%, 14.9%, 11.8%, 10.9% and 10.0% of the total number of parasitoid collected, respectively). The other sixteen families showed relative frequency lower than 1.0%.
