Abstract

We present a case of adenosarcoma of the uterus observed with magnetic resonance (MR) imaging in a 58-year-old female. The tumor was a polypoid mass occupying the uterine cavity. The MR images revealed the mass, including cysts and fat tissue, and presenting gadolinium enhancement. Diffusion weighted images showed the mass as mildly high signal intensity. This type of tumor rarely includes fat as a heterologous component, and MR findings have not been reported previously in the literature.
