Abstract

• Atopic dermatitis, an endogenous eczema, affects 9-12% of the population, and is more common in infants and children • Chronic eczema commonly presents in patients with a history of asthma and rhinitis • Pharmacists should be able to advise about nutrients that may be effective in easing eczema and also advise on supportive strategies, such as skincare.
