Abstract
The article presents information on the utilization of magnesium sulfate for the neonate's neuroprotection in preterm deliveries. Topics include understanding the condition and development of cerebral palsy (CP) which causes severe physical disability in children, the association between preterm birth and perinatal fetal brain injury, and the issue of fetal safety with the administration of magnesium sulfate perinatally.
